Biden to tour his new digs

Vice President-elect Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, will get a private tour of their new home Northwest Washington tomorrow evening.
Vice President Cheney and his wife, Lynne, will provide the Bidens with the inside scoop about the house on the ground of U.S. Naval Observatory they have made their home for the last eight years.
According to the White House Web site, the house“was built in 1893 for the superintendent of the United States Naval Observatory. The house was so lovely that the chief of naval operations booted the superintendent and made the house his home in 1923. The house was ‘taken over’ again in 1974 when Congress turned ‘Number One Observatory Circle’ into the official residence of the Vice President.’‘
According to President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team, “An official photo of the Bidens and Cheneys will be released following the meeting. ‘’
