1. getting re-elected
2.raising enough money to get re-elected
3.power
4.brokering deals for their own benefit since
the job is part time

Do any of these people have even the smallest interest in their legacies, or in our survival – or is their only interest in what’s for dinner? It’s gone beyond laughable. It’s an utter disgrace.
