Echoing my esteemed colleague, Kermit I, it was the Greens who contested the stolen election in 2004, in Ohio, when Kerry ordered his staff to stand down.

As yes indeed, it was the Greens that cost Al Gore his home state of Tennessee in 2000. ANd it was Nader that told Bill Clinton that he couldn’t campaign in Arkansas in 2000, another state they lost. It actually was the Greens that started the protest over stolen votes in Florida in 2000 but Gore didn’t want to stand up to the Republican theft, it’s not what nice Democrats do, they might get nasty comments on the Georgetown cocktail circuit.

And it was the Greens who did stand up and challenge Bush after 9/11, while the Democrats tripped over themselves to cheerlead the war on terrorism at home and abroad. 9/11 was when we needed a real oppostion party to stand up to the dark forces that were unleashed (the neoCons) and the Democrats as usual were MIA.

And who exactly cares about what the Albany Greens think? These are the same self-righteous clowns that helped get Bush elected in 2000, then didn’t even have the strength of character to admit their role.

The Iraq war, the corporate giveaways, the gross mismanagement of the economy, and the endless series of lies and scandals from our outgoing president are all the result of the green party’s unquenchable lust for attention.
