Spitzer In Slate: Build Robotics, Not Roads

January
6

Disgraced governor-turned-columnist Eliot Spitzer has authored a new column in Slate this week, arguing that the Obama stimulus package shouldn’t invest in old infrastructure, but instead in “smart meters” for electricity, infrastructure for alternative energy, upgrading Internet access across the country and “funding for robotics teams at every school.”

Spitzer pushed the idea of investing in science and technology as governor and for money to add high-speed Internet service in rural areas.

As the Spin Cycle points out, Spitzer would be writing his second State of the State address this week were it not for his tryst with a prostitute last February.
