Obama statement on Rod Blagojevich
President Barack Obama issued a statement on the unanimous vote the Illinois state senate earlier today to impeach Gov. Rod Balojevich.
The vote ousted Blagojevich from office and replaced him with Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn.
“Today ends a painful episode for Illinois,’’ stated Obama. “For months, the state had been crippled by a crisis of leadrship, Now that cloud has lifted. I wish Gov. Quinn the best and pledge my full cooperation as he undertakes his new responsibilities.’‘

What was he impeached for?
Did he take money?
Was a crime done here?
All he did was talk about a crime on the telephone. This is interesting. I agree with most people he was not a nice guy. But no crime was done. If the Feds waited till money transfered than it will be a crime.
There could be more here than meets the eye.
Ever hear of the word “ethics?” If one is somehow unfamiliar with this word and the obligations attached thereto, it’s taught in law school, where Blago was supposedly “educated.”
Ethics. How many people on Obama’s staff forgot to pay there taxes.
We could pay down the nation’s entire debt if Obama’s friends would just pay their taxes.
