Democrats choose 20th candidate

February
1

Democratic committee leaders have picked a venture capitalist to run for the 20th Congressional District seat recently vacated by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, according to this Associated Press story.

Scott Murphy, who hails from Glen Falls, will face Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco of Schenectady. Gov. David Paterson has yet to call a special election to fill the seat. The House seat became open after Paterson appointed Gillibrand to replace Hillary Clinton in the Senate.

Looks like the Democrat Party Bosses held a secret meeting behind closed doors at an undisclosed location (revealed only tonight) and hand selected a greedy Wall Street tycoon who cheated on his taxes.

Apparently, the Tax Cheat Scott Murphy also has some residency issues. On his campaign kick-off press release he gives a New York City 917 area code to reach him. Say What???
