Tedisco Gets Conservative Nod

Congressional candidate James Tedisco, the Assembly minority leader, picked the Conservative Party nomination today for the 20th District election, which has yet to be called by Gov. David paterson.

Party Chairman Mike Long said  “Leader Tedisco has a very short amount of time to cover 10 counties and garner the grassroots support he will need to become the newest member of Congress.  Jim has the background necessary to represent the constituents of the 20th CD and to fight for fiscal sanity when Congress is spending our hard earned money faster than we can earn it.”

And Long did what most Republicans are doing: he called on Paterson to announce the election date.

“The constituents need to be represented,” he said.
