Would they have done this to Caroline Kennedy? N O...
She's rich and glamourous. And the Kennedys would get even with every single one of those Congresspeeps.

But Gillibrand was a junior member of their crew - and they can't stomach her being jumped ahead of them for Senate. And since they don't fear her or Paterson, they go public with their comments.

Governor Cuomo (pere or fils) would/will cut their heads off. So would have Governor Steamroller aka Client No. 9. Paterson wimps out. Say good night, Gracie.

If the NYS Democratic Party rules and regs require that the Party must not take a position or expenditure for or against a candidate until the State Committee chooses a candidate at the State Convention, then this is an appropriate request/reminder.
However, why single out Senator Gillibrand? Aren’t there other appointed officials that are up for their first election in 2010 – like Gov. Paterson and Comptroller DiNapoli? And what of the reelection of AG Cuomo and Senator Schumer? Are they also in this electoral limbo until the State Committee decides?

There needs to be a revolution of these political parties, and more petitions need to be passed around to empower the people, taxpayers and voters. McCarthy has worked hard for the people she represents, maybe because she is one of us, and she looks out for our best interest. Jose Serrano, is no push over either he works hard for the people in the Bronx, and EVERYBODY loves him because he is reachable. They have a cause, they have an agenda, they have a purpose.

These Democrats are on the right track to forfeit the senate seat in question to the GOP. What a bunch of low-life, sore losers these people are. I'd have probably supported any of them -- except for the grossly unqualified McCarthy perhaps -- had Paterson appointed them. Should any of them prevail in a primary, they can bet their fundaments I will stay home on election day. One thing New York State does not need are senators who engage in petty hair-pulls such as what we are seeing now. By the way, do any of the signatories to this piece of garbage come from north of the Bronx?

All these Democrats should write a letter to June O'Neill about cleaning house in Westchester County, sign a petition against the Democrats who cross party lines with their good friends the Republicans, they all eat together off the same buffet, this is the political game in Westchester County, there is only one party here in New York, you know it, they know it and everybody knows it. Why do you think the Clinton's moved to Westchester County, they knew Hillary had the shoe already in to be a Senator here. The next fundraiser you go to take a good look around the room, look to your right, look to your left, and one more time, look around the room, do you really trust any of them? However, it sounds like these Democrats are on the right track, keep signing.
