Porcupine Looking For Work
The Wildlife Conservation Society released its second ad today featuring its porcupine, Wednesday, who is out of work as a result of proposed cuts to state zoos, botanical gardens and aquariums in fiscal year 2010.
After being laid off in the first video, Wednesday, heads to an unemployment office, only to find out she doesn’t know Powerpoint and can’t get work. A dejected Wednesday heads into the street outside the Bronx Zoo.
Gov. David Paterson has proposed cutting all of the $9 million in state aid that goes to the state’s 76 zoos, botanical gardens and aquariums.
