State University of NY - tuition, room-and-board, books and supplies, transportation -$15,730

City of New Rochelle (for example) spent per student - $21,000

At SUNY, you eat, attend classes, get a room, books, supplies and transportation for $15M

In New Rochelle, for $21M, (and it is nowhere near the highest in Westchester), you get a chair and some books.

What's in these snapshots that blur the eyes?

the teachers union has destroyed public education in
new york...they have prostituted themselves out to
the highest political bidder..i have seen them in action
they man the phones, they raise money, they insist
on contracts that do not exist in other parts of
the nation..it is a disgrace but no one not republican
nor democrat has the fortitude to stand up to them
so they run wild in the streets

NO, they do not WANT a 2% increase. They want a 20% increase, but know they can't now get it. The more we elect these profligates, the worse it will get year after year after year.
