Caroline Kennedy To Raise Money For Slaughter
Caroline Kennedy is coming to Rochester next month to raise money for Rep. Louise Slaughter’s re-election next month.
The invitation says Kennedy, Garth Fagan and Gap Mangione will “pay tribute to Congresswoman Louise Slaughter for her unyielding support of the arts.” Tickets range from $90 to $2,400.
In December, Slaughter, D-Fairport, Monroe County, was one of the first members of the New York congressional delegation to back Kennedy in her bid to run for the U.S. Senate, a seat that Kennedy later backed away from, leading Gov. David Paterson to appoint Kirsten Gillibrand to Hillary Clinton’s seat.

Caroline would, you know, have made a great senator! She like, you know, has great compassion for all humanity and believes that ALL olympics should be special. She has done a great job of dieting and now looks like her late mother, Mrs. Onassis. And all the other members of the Kennedy family are working on their sobriety.
