Paterson Clarifies Remarks

Posted by: Joseph Spector - Posted in Uncategorized on Aug 21, 2009

Gov. David Paterson is seeking to clarify remarks he made earlier today on a New York City radio show in which he knocked the media and suggested he is receiving unfair treatment because he is black.

Here’s his statement:

“During a radio interview this morning, I made some observations about the tone of some of the recent negative media coverage.

“At no point did I claim that this media piling-on effect was due to race – elected officials of all races get piled on by the media all the time; that is the nature of our business. What I did point out was that certain media outlets have engaged in coverage that exploits racial stereotypes.

“That’s not only unfair – it’s wrong – and it sends an objectionable message. I will not shy away from speaking honestly about prejudices, some subtle and some not, nor will I fail to point out that we have a long way to go to achieve a truly post-racial society.”

Baloney! I heard what he said and he says he’s being picked- on (mainly by the press, of all people) specifically for being black. He’ll try to fend-off Cuomo with this nonsense for as long as he can, and then find himself a cushy position either from the Obama administration or from the Democratic majority so he will get lost.

“Lord” Paterson “Royal Air Waves ” saying he is going to fight to the end to keep his “Royal Manor” on Eagle Street.

He is blaming media reporters like Dominic Carter and Fred Dicker among “others” in the print media for writing and blogging about his poll numbers and listening to ALL THOSE DEMOCRATIC SOURCES” that have been call the media and saying “Lord” Paterson must go.

He is call them out, and saying I AM RUNNING PERIOD.

This will not set well with the Democratic Senate “Crazy” Committee “Barons” who fear losing control in 2010, or the Members of Congress who also fear losing.

Lets not forget “King” Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Schumer and his “Queen” Gillibrand

Yes the DEMOCRATS And Labor leaders are the sources, not the Republicans, this is a totally DEMOCRATIC FAMILY FIGHT.

    No More Schumer
    No More Pelosi
    No More Rangel
No More Engel and his Million Dollar Home in Maryland.
P.s Keep it up all you Democratic and Labor Sources the more you blab the better it is for the morbid NY GOP to make a comeback in 2010

So far, with his muddled head buried deeply within the sandbar, and with the help of his “friends,” (who will soon dump him) he has irresponsibly, in the face of a looming fiscal disaster, INCREASED State spending by 10 or 11 billion. The net outcome of his race rant at best will result in Cuomo having to chose (or have chosen for him) a minority Lt. Governor.
