DiFiore gets Gillibrand’s backing
U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand endorsed Westchester District Attorney Janet DiFiore for a second term, saying DiFiore has close to three decades of impressive experience as a judge and a prosecutor that make her an outstanding district attorney committed to the safety of communities.
“District Attorney Janet DiFiore is an important partner in our efforts at the federal level to stop gun violence in local communities in New York,” Gillibrans said in an announcement. ”Families need to be assured that we are doing all that is possible to eliminate the threat of gun violence in our neighborhoods.”
The two Democrats say they are committed to reducing gun violence and stopping the illegal flow of guns as well as prosecuting internet predators who target children.

Sure all you female republicans who became democrats support one another.
The incumbent DiFiore has a badly managed office and a record of not support law enforcement and victims.
Murder is up in Westchester and she just keeps cutting cheap plea deals, perps win victims lose.
Out, out, damned incumbent!
gilibrand is what is wrong with politics, she was a conservative democrat in a republican district, all of
a sudden she does a 180 , and becomes the most liberal
member of the senate, she was one of eight out of the
whole senate to keep funding ACORN. I hope republicans
run a formidable candidate like guiliani, pataki or
lazio.
the criticism of difiore is a dog that won’t hunt…Difiore
is a great administrator with 28 years of experience both
as a judge and DA…virtually every law enformement group
in the county supports her…those who criticize are drinking the koolaid mixed by the toxic crew of castro
zherka and blassberg…difiore pays huge attention to the
victims her office serves and in fact has expanded victims
services like never before…in every da election for the
last 40 years there are always some malcontenets but as
she proved in the primary she trounced her opponent 63-37
and will do the same in the general election…
From what I hear and read it appears that Janet DiFiore has the support of the people of Westchester County. D.A. DiFiore’s trouncing (newspaper terms) of Tony Castro clearly show that the D.A. is doing a great job. The voters in Westchester see through all the garbage being thrown at her by those who would like to serve as D.A. Tony Castro is not worthy of to many words and Dan Schorr is simply a novice who has no clue for what is going to happen to him on Election Day. Janet DiFiore is an excellent D.A. and the voters in Westchester County will put her back into office with an overwhelming victory.
Tony Castro will go work with Lovett or work as the editor for the Guardian and Dan Schorr will try to find employment somewhere. If Mr. Schorr is looking for a job that actually is looking for an experienced attorney, he may be out of work for a while.
The funny thing is Dan Schorr actually thinks he has a chance at winning. What planet is he living on, Dan Schorr will be humiliated in this years District Attorny race.
