Cuomo Takes Pension Board Proposal On Road
Attorney General Andrew Cuomo is hitting the road today to push his pension reforms and a plan to move the state’s pension system from a sole trusteeship under the comptroller to a board of trustees.
He’s in East Fishkill this morning and in Ramapo in Rockland County later today. He said he’s headed to Long Island tomorrow—the home of Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, who is lukewarm to the idea of losing control of the pension system.
Cuomo said on Fred Dicker’s radio show this morning that he’s hopeful lawmakers will support his proposal. He’s expected to pick up the backing of local legislator, saying he’s “building a coalition to make it happen.”
Assemblyman Kevin Cahill, D-Poughkeepsie Kingston, was quick to praise Cuomo in a news release this morning.
“Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has once again demonstrated that he is constant in his vigilance over taxpayers’ money and keenly aware of what it takes to make New York government run right again,” Cahill said.
Cuomo was asked about a Democrat and Chronicle article earlier in the week in which he sounded gubernatorial in his talk about the need to lower taxes. He again deflected questions about a possible gubernatorial run next year, saying “I have been talking about the same issues basically for the entire three years that I have been attorney general.”
He said his plan is to run for re-election next year. Asked about the White House’s intervention in asking Gov. David Paterson to not run for election next year, Cuomo said “The president is the head of the party and the president is free to give his political opinions, as am I, as is the governor, or any elected official.”

I never [thought] of this development in the State Politics [of NY]coming! –
However, I [think] that the “disrespecting of two-terms” Mayor of New York City [ State of New York ] has really made his [promise with not his influence -but the influence of his money ].
Perhaps [changing Parties ] right after taking all advantages from those; then suddendly becoming independent –
And, [during the last Presidential elections] come out from [no-where] and use the same anology that ” {Bloomburg] is running for the Presdient of The United States -becasue of the sorry state of affairs in {OUR] Country! . . ” and was ready to spend Billions of Dollars on Campaign [his own] to “buy the People” versus “by the People”.
When [that ] did not work [because of gaining popularity of President Brack Hussian Obama]. then walked away – He [Bloomburg] also tried to win support in Californina [by luring} the Actor [over there]! . . didn’t work!
Later, [now running for a third term] as NYC Mayor’s Office under ‘fooling” the People of New York City – taking advantage of the Economic Downfall as an excuse -that “its only him [Bloomburg] who can lead the NYC in this time of crisis -and the term limits must be change to three terms!”
A QUESTION – How is it possible that there [are] only a few People [in Public Offices} who will alternate in every Office of Trust [from Rockland County to NYC to almost everywhere with Our Nation? How does that happens?
IS THERE NO ONE ELSE THERE -WHO IS COMPETENT OR CAN LEAD US!
And, [unprecedented] The City Council [within 5 minutes] agreed and changed the Law – The City Law-Makers made the Law or Broke The Law? [Yet, to be determined by history]
However, [the Legislature ] of The State of New York in Albany , has only passed [or worked] on 12% of the Agenda that was on the Table [this is the State Legislature] Many Bills did not even make it to the Table or even get looked upon! . . .
And there is [the City Council} overnight agreed for extending the term – the biggest opponent is silenced and start makingup [around] Bloomburg in almost every TV appreance standing behind with full loyalty! [Fact}
Now the AG [whose job is to] protect, the Law is here engaged in obtaining support [May be its : you help me today- I will help you if you are a candidate for Govornor tomorrow]
And, here I am and [many others ] in NY who are starving and have to make choices how many time to eat food every day – Choosing between, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner – How are the People with Families coping in the Present Times while everyone goes around the power centers and is engaged in gaining support!
How about supporting We the People -before gaining anything else? The Government is [suppossed to be] of the People, for the People and By the People” Isn’t it!

I hope Cuomo runs for re-election so he can put Adam Levy out to pasture. Levy thinks he can run with the big boys because his mother is Judge Judy. I don’t care if his Mom is Judge Sotomayor. Levy is going nowhere. His mother’s money can’t buy him respect.
