"“This was directly opposite to what was agreed to and understood by both Commissioners. Calls were made to Senator Leibell who stated that we could not use the community room, no chance. It is unfortunate that Senator Leibell has chosen to make this decision,” they wrote"

The fact that people are calling our Senator Leibell out about a non-important issue like this is a joke. The guy is a boss and has no time for issues like this. This Senator has boss decisions to make everyday and a problem with a voting room is non-important to him. He's got to worry about his soldiers over seas, not Putnam County supervisors screwing up a senior citizen voting room. Remember this guy has real issues to worry about.

Borkowski went begging for a job with Don Smith, after all the vitriolic nastiness that defined Borkowski for 6 months. Not just that, he wanted the job of Undersheriff. The guy has never done anything except talk tough, now he wants to be a cop. And today I hear he's running for legislator. Understand something little jimmy, you run for that seat and we will come out with EVERYTHING on you. EVERYTHING. All the Ken doll wants is a county job to pay for his health benefits. What a waste.

Will Leibell try to oust Tony next year?

Will Tony stay as Chair of the Putnam County Republican Party?

Or has Tony had enough and will get out when the going is good?

If Tony is gone. Who will be the next Chair?

It sounds like the election commissioners who are to blame. Why would they choose a venue that had two separate voting rooms? There are plenty of places in Southeast where voting could be done in one room, 67 Main has certainly been used in the past and currently sits empty. What's the true story here? Tony mad cause Leibell tried to have him ousted last year? As Sarah would say: you betcha!

A non-profit owns city hall, and that non profit is run by the senator. Is this NY or Ciudad Juarez?
