DiFiore takes oath, says DWI, violent crime are priorities
Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore was sworn in today to a second term as Westchester County’s District Attorney.

n of the Court of Appeals administered the oath of office. DiFiore, who was sworn in the district attorney’s office, spoke of the office’s mission of prosecuting criminals, using innovative technology and working with other law enforcement agencies.
“The people of Westchester County should be confident that we will continue to do the very important work of the District Attorney’s Office, serving the public needs with the same sense of professionalism and integrity as we pursue our mission of justice,” she said.
She also said she will continue to focus on important issues such as violent crime in the cities of Mount Vernon and Yonkers and will redouble DWI enforcement efforts.
