Lowey’s challengers lining up
Mark Rosen, a businessman from Larchmont and lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, is interested in mounting a run against Rep. Nita Lowey, D-Harrison.
Word is that Rosen, a 48-year-old Republican who graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and Harvard University (master’s in public administration), is in the process of organizing a campaign.
Meanwhile Jim Russell, who has challenged Lowey several times, said this week that he plans to run again.
Rosen is senior vice president of strategic sourcing and procurement at Adecco Group North America, a recruitment company based in Melville, N.Y.
Rosen graduated from West Point in 1984 and served in the Army for 15 years, holding positions such as airborne ranger, jumpmaster and infantryman. He also completed his tour in the Pentagon working on national security strategy and defense capabilities.
Rosen is married with three children.

the campaign against nita has to be counterintuitive
she has to be attacked for profligate spending on
the one hand..as part of the washington incumbant problem
but she and Obama also have to be taken to task for
continuing the bush policy in Iraq and Afganistan…if
we are to right the fiscal ship we cannot be spending
trilions trying to establish democracies in tribal nations
where none is desired nor appreciated.
Westchester needs an alternative to the reckless spending Democrats. We also need someone who will fight for liberty, not a government takeover of healthcare, like Ms. Lowey favors. She is voting to enslave, and make America second rate!
Good luck Mr. Rosen!!
Sincerely, Greg Faughnan, Rye.
