That’s how Buffalo-area businessman Carl Paladino, a Republican, opens up his new Web ad that calls on the state Conservative Party to wait to make an endorsement for governor. The party is meeting tomorrow to discuss making endorsements.
“I respectfully urge you to delay any decision by the Conservative party until you had a chance to see how my candidacy unfolds,” Paladino said.
Paladino said he will spend $10 million of his own money on his gubernatorial run. He vowed to run in a Republican primary.
Paladino’s campaign manager Michael Caputo said Paladino will announce his candidacy April 5 in Buffalo.
“As governor, I’ll slash spending and cut taxes,” Paladino said. “I’ll turn Albany upside down and take out the trash.”
