Republican U.S. Senate candidate Joseph DioGuardi today announced he’s picked up nearly 20 endorsements from Conservative, Republican, and Independence Party leaders.
The former House member from Westchester County is one of several GOP candidates vying for the party’s nomination to run against Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand. His campaign has gained notice because his daughter, Kara, is the well-known judge on American Idol.
“I want to extend a most heartfelt thanks to those who have already endorsed my candidacy,” said DioGuardi in a statement. “The American Dream is not a fable for me and my family. ”
