Hayworth gets 19th C.D. GOP nod
Republicans in the 19th Congressional District last night endorsed Dr. Nan Hayworth, a retired ophthalmologist from Mount Kisco, to take on Rep. John Hall, D-Dover Plains. The weighted vote went as follows: Dr. Nan Hayworth- 29,336; David McFadden- 6,150; Tom DiChairo DeChiaro – 1,649; Neil Di Carlo – 77.
No word yet on whether any of the other candidates will wage a primary, although I’m told McFadden from Orange County said he would support the convention’s choice.
