Two Dutchess County pols go to Malpass
Republican Senate hopeful David Malpass picked up the endorsement of two Dutchess County politicans: Assemblyman Marc Molinaro and County Legislator Angela Flesland, his campaign announced this morning.
Malpass, a New York City economist, is seeking the Republican nomination to face U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., in November.
In a release, Molinaro, R-Tivoli, linked the problems of Albany and Washington, D.C. as nearly one in the same.
“Albany is a mess and faces many of the same problems currently plaguing our federal government, but if we don’t have leaders in Washington working to put the country back on track, we will never be able to fix the problems on the state level,” said Assemblyman Molinaro. “David will be a strong voice for New York and I look forward to partnering with him as our next U.S. Senator.”
Malpass faces former U.S. Rep. Joe DioGuardi and Nassau County Legislator Bruce Blakeman for the nomination. Republicans meet in New York City next week to has out their endorsements.

While Mr. “No Personality” received these 2 small endorsements, Joe DioGuardi received the endorsement of the Dutchess County Conservative Chair and Committee.

If DioGuardi does not receieve the Conservative Nomination at tomorrow’s Convention, it will be a shame for the People of New York and the principles of the Conservative Party.
Malpass doesn’t deserve any endorsements, he’s a fake economist and has no business sniffing around the office of the Senate! He’s an even worse candidate than Bruce Blakeman, whos only in the running because Big Daddy Al wants him there. All I want is my government back, and I wouldn’t trust these people to wash my car, and their in line to be our next nominees to represent NY? You have got to be kidding me!!!
I guess his arrogant slip wasn’t showing the day he pitched Dutchess Co. Malpass will say anything to “ordinary people” to get the result he wants, but he will blow us off after he’s elected.
