Giuliani cuts ad for Malpass
Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and supporter of U.S. Senate candidate David Malpass is appearing in a television ad for the GOP hopeful.
In the ad, Giuliani, who announced his endorsement of Malpass on Tuesday, says the state needs someone of Malpass’s “stature” in Washington.
“And New York needs a Senator of stature, lower spending, lower taxes and David knows that from his experience with Ronald Reagan”
Malpass, a former Reagan and Bush Treasury Department official, is an economist at Bear Sterns. He is competing against former GOP Rep. Joe DioGuardi and ex-Nassau County Legislator Bruce Blakeman. The winner faces U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.

Are you kidding? DioGuardi was first on TV with a real advertisement that talks about the national debt and jobs-
what New Yorkers want to hear. DioGuardi has over 6,000 more facebook fans than Malpass. DioGuardi can actually speak a complete sentence without studdering 7,000 times. DioGuardi doesn’t have someone else speak in his TV ad-he is actually a man who is confident with himself.DioGuardi doesn’t need his wife to get him a NY Post Endorsement—meaningless, by the way.

What a disappointment DioGuardi is. He hasn’t shown that he has the spirit to win this thing. It’s hard not to wonder what his campaign team is telling him to do- that is if he even has one.

Have any of you watched the poll numbers? Joe is leading by a margin of 2/1 or 3/1.
I haven’t seen the TV ad from Joe except on YouTube. He has been criss-crossing the state and meeting people face to face while the others are scheming and plotting negative campaigns.
Joe hasn’t let anyone down. Funds are tight and he’s using his own money. You should be helping and not demanding that Joe meet your expectations of a candidate. That’s what supporters do.

polls are best considered after the fact. with 68% of the primary voter base undecided, you have to assume the majority of votes will go to dio solely based on the fact that italian americans represent the largest ethnic bloc vote in new york and his name sounds italian.

Rudy, what a giant waste of time that ad was. Malpass is possibly the worst candidate in this race, although Blakeman is pretty close to the bottom of the barrel as well.
Which leaves DioGuardi. I’m not sure how anyone thinks he’s been invisible on the campaign trail, he’s been pumping his message out there on TV and appearances. Nevermind performance in the debate, which was miles above the other two petulant career-politician wannabes.

Hands down NEW YORK needs and will know the name Joe DioGuardi come Tuesday! DioGuardi will defeat Gillibrand! NO ONE knew who Kirsten Gillibrand was until she was APPOINTED as Senator after Hillary was promoted to the White House and she’s still unknown in terms of her performance, hasn’t done a thing with our economy, especially Albany/Buffalo!

Meanwhile, I’m encouraged by the fact that Joe at least has some solid ideas about how to improve the economy. Enough to write a whole book about it, literally. Unaccountable Congress. Read it. It offers a much better alternative to Gillibrand’s irresposible liberalism than Malpass or Blakeman’s record of ineffectuality.
Oh yeah, Joe actually gets off his behind to meet with the people. I wonder if Malpass has even ventured past NYC city limits over the course of his campaign!

Joe definitely stands out in this race because he works at the grassroots level to hear what the people of New York have to say. This is very refreshing in an endless sea of corrupt politicians who let their money do the talking for them.
Just remember no candidate running for Senate has won without the Conservative Party Line win! Who has it under their belt? None other than Joe DioGuardi! The votes are secured and I’ll see you at the polls tomorrow!
