Ball says he’s on board with debates

State Assemblyman Greg Ball, R-Patterson, said he “intend(s) to attend EVERY single debate that is planned, as my schedule allows” when it comes to facing off against Democratic Westchester County Legislator Mike Kaplowitz in the race for the 40th state Senate District. (The emphasis on EVERY came from Ball in an e-mail.)

As you may recall, Kaplowitz challenged Ball to seven forums and debates in the coming weeks. He’s now upped that to 14 debates throughout the Senate district— “five in Westchester County, five in Putnam County, and four in Dutchess County.”

First up is a candidates forum sponsored by the Concerned Residents of Carmel & Mahopac on Tuesday, Sept. 28th, starting at 7:00 PM in the Mahopac Library.

Stay tuned.

  1. I’d like to see Greg Ball explain in a debate his votes against the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act each of the three times this bill came up in the Assembly. Greg Ball and many of the Republicans prefer to insist that bearded, balding, transsexual men be foreced to use women’s restrooms – something that most women might not exactly like.
