Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo has sought to distance himself from the attacks leveled by the state Democratic Committee on Republican foe Carl Paladino.

But that doesn’t mean he isn’t bankrolling the effort.

Cuomo’s campaign filings today show he’s transferred $1 million from his account into the party’s coffers since late August.

The state Democratic Committee, whose executive director Charlie King was installed by Cuomo earlier this year, has released photos of Paladino as a pig at the public trough and an ad showing Paladino as part of the “swap of corruption” in Albany.
