Paladino Predicts Victory; He and Cuomo Vote

Posted by: Joseph Spector - Posted in Uncategorized on Nov 02, 2010

Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino voted this afternoon in Buffalo, and predicted he’ll win today, Gannett’s WGRZ-TV in Buffalo reports.

Here’s their report:

“How do I feel about my chances today?” Paladino asked. “We’re gonna win this today. The people are going to come out and they’re going to vote and they’re going to speak.”

Paladino said this will be his last run for office, and said his plans for the rest of the day include an afternoon nap.

As for Andrew Cuomo, he voted this morning in Mount Kisco, Westchester County. He said it went smoothly. Capital Tonight has some video, with Sandra Lee with him.

  1. Bill

This does sound like it was wreittn when drunk, but that’s OK. Its pretty much right. The New York state government is much closer to bankruptcy than people generally realize. The thing with Paladino is that the lower parts of the ballot are often filled with fringe candidates, generally unemployed losers who somehow run for office instead of getting a blog like everyone else. What the Republicans did in this election was to take one of these guys and run him as a “major party” candidate. There are actual fringe party candidates in this election who sound saner. My guess is that they are trying to throw this to Cuomo.
