When President Obama got off Air Force 1 at Albany International Airport today, he headed over to a crowd of visitors who had been invited to watch the arrival from the tarmac. Obama shook hands with them before getting into one of the SUVs in the motorcade that took him to Schenectady. When he returned from making a speech at General Electric’s plant in Schenectady, the president quickly took the stairs to get back onto the airplane.
Obama was headed back to the White House and then to Chesapeake Bay, Cambridge, Md. to attend the Democratic Issues Conference. He’s scheduled to return home before 10 p.m. tonight.
