Terror war ongoing, Ball says

State Sen. Greg Ball, R-Carmel, today announced that the Senate’s Homeland Security Committee, which he chairs, will hold hearings in April to “assess the security of New York City and the state, now 10 years after 9-11.” He pointed to yesterday’s arrest of Texas terror suspect Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari as a need to stay vigilant .

“The events that transpired in Texas yesterday, show that the battle against terror, and their war against us, has not even begun.  As New Yorkers we live in the world’s most likely terrorist target and as the ten year anniversary of 9-11 grows near, we must assess the measures that are being taken to protect our citizens from these types of threats, as well as what preventative measures we should be taking to ensure our continued safety,” Ball said in a statement.

  1. Greg Ball did nothing to stop illegal immigration in Putnam or anywhere else. It was nothing more than a sound bite for him to look good. The fact that illegal immigration in Putnam has gone out of control is a testament to this.

Now he onto Homeland Security. Greg take care of the illegals in Brewster before you move onto the state.

  2. Greg Ball most certainly did put an end to terrorism in Putnam County. For many years, so many people were terrorized by Leibell & his minions. If you wanted to run for any office, the first thing you felt was FEAR, FEAR from Senator Leibell. If you had the nerve to run without asking, you stood a very good chance of getting badly hurt. You had to worry about retaliation & retribution.
    Those days are now over.
Greg Ball stood up to Leibell & his minions, took their best vicious attacks, and he put a stop to all the fear and terror. All that remains is for Ball to finish what he started, and make sure none of Leibell’s minions think it’s busines as usual.
This is a new day in Putnam, without political terror.
    Thank you Greg Ball.
