Assemblyman Katz to host Town Hall Saturday with Rep. Hayworth

Assemblyman Steve Katz (R,I-Yorktown) is encouraging residents and members of the media to attend a special Town Hall-style meeting Saturday, March 19 at the Patterson Town Hall. The meeting will feature special guest Congresswoman Nan Hayworth and runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“It is important for constituents to know that their representatives are working together on their behalf. Congresswoman Hayworth and I have been partnering on a variety of local projects and want to ensure constituents’ concerns are addressed at every level of government,” said the assemblyman, who hosted a Town Hall-style meeting last week at the Yorktown Fire House. “Both the congresswoman and I are new representatives, and in addition to letting you know that we are here to serve you, we also want to share our first impressions of Albany and Washington with residents.”

Various local officials are expected to attend, and all constituents are invited.

Patterson Town Hall is at 1142 Route 331. Cal 845-279-5301 for more information.

  1. Looks like Katz took a page right out of Ball’s book, knowing that the media will cover every single word he says, he takes advantage of it. He was the better of the other two choices for sure.

  2. sick of haters on

Give it a rest! If Katz wasn’t doing all these things you’d be saying ” Where is he?, What has he done?” Jealousy is a very unattractive quality.

  3. I think Katz is doing a tremendous job. At least he’s trying….what I’m saying is he took a page out of Ball’s playbook and makes countless announcements, knowing that as an Assemblyman the news will cover it, getting free face-time. Katz is working hard. He was the best choice for Assembly in 2010, and the voters proved it.
