Katz holding reform convention tonight in Mahopac

State Assemblyman Steve Katz, R-Yorktown, and Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb will be in Mahopac tonight (6/28) seeking ideas on how “to help fix some of the problems that continue to affect New Yorkers today.”

The  People’s Convention to Reform New York town-hall meeting will take place at the Mahopac Library on Route 6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

“Sadly, the Empire State continues to boast the second-highest combined state and local tax burden in the nation,” Katz said in a statement. “New Yorkers are threatened by economically and structurally inefficient bureaucracies and government overreach. With almost a million unemployed New Yorkers, there is still plenty of work to be done and I would like you to join the conversation to help put New York back on the right track.”
