Really, it was only a matter of time.
Like many of the major national stories from the past year or so, last Friday’s vote to legalize same-sex marriage in New York got the animation treatment from Taiwanese news/cartoon company NMA-TV.
It’s got everything — rainbows shooting out of the Capitol, giant untamed elephants, Gov. Andrew Cuomo with a multi-colored tie, and of course, fire-breathing women.
It’s not the first time a New York political story has found itself the subject of a Taiwanese cartoon. Former Republican candidate for governor Carl Paladino starred in one shortly after getting into a face-off with the New York Post’s Fred Dicker.
