Here’s video of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s comments about the Tappan Zee Bridge after a presentation by Thruway Authority Executive Director Thomas Madison.

Cuomo has sought to fast track construction of a new $5 billion bridge and indicated today the bridge will be equipped with the ability to add mass transit, such as bus lanes and rail lines. He also said it’s an “exciting option” to consider making the current bridge into a walkway rather than spending $150 million to tear it down.
