Senate Democrats this morning are slated to host the latest in their ongoing series of Albany-based public hearings, this time on the Reproductive Health Act and other issues concerning women.
The forum, being led by Yonkers Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins, kicks off at 11 a.m.
The Reproductive Health Act, sponsored by Stewart-Cousins, would codify a woman’s right to have an abortion and allows a woman to elect for one if the pregnancy endangers her health, regardless of how late in the pregnancy the health issue arises.
