Brace yourself—there’s more political mail coming your way.
A trio of business lobbying groups are out with a set of new mailers in contested state Senate races, touting four Republican candidates who supported the state’s property-tax cap and two straight on-time budgets.
The mailers are going out in the districts of Sens. Stephen Saland, R-Poughkeepsie, and Mark Grisanti, R-Buffalo, as well as Assemblymen George Amedore, R-Amsterdam, Montgomery County, and Sean Hanna, R-Mendon, Monroe County. (Both Amedore and Hanna are running for Senate.)
“This joint effort highlights the commitment of our organizations to help move our state forward to a better financial and economic future,” National Federation of Independent Business state director Mike Durant said in a statement.
Along with NFIB, Unshackle Upstate and the Business Council of New York came together to fund the mailers.
