VIDEO: Tempers Flare In Yonkers Over Gas Lines

1

Things are getting ugly as gas lines get longer and power has yet to be restored in New York City and its suburbs.

The Journal News has this video of people wanting for gas in Yonkers today. People said they’ve been waiting on line for more than an hour in some cases.

One guy showed the gas pump moving so slow, it would probably take 20 minutes just to fill up.

Sen. David Carlucci, D-Clarkstown, Rockland County, told Lohud.com that his office has received reports of gas gouging — with some places charging more than $5 a gallon.

  1. Yonkers should only sell gas to westchester residents by asking for their car registration. I noticed long lines of taxis from the bronx and manhattan. NYC needs to take care of their own. What is Bloomberg doing about this? Nothing!!!
