Westchester county executive to hold telephone town hall Wednesday on 2013 budget

Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino will hold an Ask Astorino telephone town hall on his proposed 2013 budget Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. The town hall is one of a series he has held in towns around the county and by phone this year.

Residents can ask questions about the budget or other topics.

To call in dial toll-free 877-228-2184 and enter event ID 19135.

Residents can submit questions in advance by emailing askastorino@westchestergov.com or through Twitter and Facebook at @westchestergov and www.facebook.com/westchestergov. Use hashtag #askastorino.

“The tele-town hall is a way for me to speak directly to Westchester residents and answer their questions,” Astorino said in a statement. “There is a lot to talk about. I will give an update on key issues and then answer questions.”

  1. While being immured at WCDOC in Valhalla recently, I honestly believe you can cut at least 2 top positions there that don’t take their job seriously as the altruistic officers Ryan Smith, C. Johnson, Hollis, and Vasquez.
My intrinsic dire requests of the “Big-Wigs” fell upon deaf ears not even to be delegated to another.
Making a movie on the premises took precedent over everything else other than their salary!!!
