Sean Lennon, Yoko Ono Target Cuomo With NYT Ad

A collection of hydrofracking critics is out with a new advertisement targeting Gov. Andrew Cuomo, this time taking out a full page in the New York Times to get their message across.
Among the groups listed as supporting the effort are the Sierra Club, Riverkeeper and New Yorkers Against Fracking, a coalition group.
Ono and Lennon’s opposition to fracking has been well documented, and the pair have also targeted Cuomo with a New York City billboard.
It’s also not the first time Cuomo has been on the receiving end of an anti-fracking message conveyed through a full-page ad. When Cuomo made an appearance in Charlotte for the Democratic National Convention, fracking critics took out space in the Charlotte Observer .
