Read Obama’s presidential proclamation honoring Boston victims

President Obama issued a presidential proclamation ordering U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims of the Boston shootings until Saturday.

The Boston Marathon bombings yesterday killed at least 3 people and injured more than 170, a law enforcement official told USA Today. Among the dead is 8-year-old Martin Richard from Dorchester and his mother and sister were also badly injured, the Boston Globe reported.
