The Business Council of Westchester is working with the Marist Institute for Public Opinion in Poughkeepsie to poll Westchester residents on issues in the county executive race.
The institute’s director, Lee Miringoff, will also moderate a debate between the candidates, incumbent Republican Rob Astorino and Democratic challenger Noam Bramson, and the poll results will be released at the debate, the Business Council announced Friday.
The debate will be Oct. 2 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Reckson Metro Center, 360 Hamilton Avenue, White Plains.
“We are very excited to announce this new partnership with the nationally renowned Marist Institute,” said Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of The Business Council. “This partnership provides The Business Council with the resources and talent of one of the nation’s leading polling organizations. We look forward to working with Lee Miringoff in identifying the issues and trends of vital importance to the Westchester community.”
