President Barack Obama took brief tour of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown on Thursday, where he held Babe Ruth’s bat and examined shoes worn by “Shoeless” Joe Jackson.
And at the end of the tour, he did what many guests do: he signed the guestbook.
According to a photo provided by the Hall of Fame’s Bradford Horn, Obama dutifully followed directions as he signed the book, entering the date, signing his name, and even providing his address: 1600 Penn. Ave., Washington, D.C.
He closed with a quick note: “Go Sox!” Obama, a former senator for Illinois, is a Chicago White Sox fan.
