Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign didn’t go so well, but the former New York City mayor still seems to be a welcome presence among state Republicans.

Former presidential candidate John Edwards is poised to endorse Barack Obama’s candidacy for president.
Edwards was to appear with Obama in Grand Rapids, Mich., today as Obama campaigns in a critical general election battleground state, according to an Associated Press account.

He got trounced in the West Virginia Primary, but Barack Obama still seems to have momentum on his side. This morning two more superdelegates announced their support for the Illinois senator.
